About Jon Alport

Jon Alport was born in 1981 in Iowa, USA. He has lived most of his life in the coastal town of Durban - South Africa - where he was awarded his Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours at the University of Natal, majoring in Computer Science.

He currently works for The Walt Disney Company in London, where he spends his days making cool stuff on the internet with a talented team called the Disney Interactive Media Group. Before this, he has worked for Prism Payment Technologies in Cape Town and Sesalos Media in Durban, as well as undertaking several freelance web development projects along the way. He maintains a keen interest in web trends and technologies and loves to surf, snowboard and take photographs.
